Tori Kelly on where her health stands after 'crazy and scary' hospital stay -

Tori Kelly has provided an update on her health after her ‘scary’ collapse and hospital stay back in July.

The music star was hospitalized in a “really serious condition” after “passing out” at dinner with friends in a downtown Los Angeles restaurant this summer. The 30-year-old later revealed doctors found out she had blood clots, and now three months later, she’s updating fans on where her health is at.

Appearing on Jennifer Hudson’s TV Talk Show, The Jennifer Hudson Show the Paper Hearts singer revealed where her health stood, just three months after the “scary” incident.

“You were in the hospital this past summer, you scared us, girl,” Hudson said. Explaining what happened fully, Tori said:

“I actually ended up collapsing one night and they found out that I had blood clots. It was really crazy and scary.”

She then revealed that her family was there for her during the difficult time, although she was “just kinda confused and wondering what was going on.”

Speaking on where her health stood now, the singer said she “feels amazing.”

“It seems like it’s a manageable thing now, I feel amazing. They’re still monitoring me, but yeah I feel great. I’m back to singing and back to doing my thing. I feel really good, I’m really grateful.”

The star also thanked her “amazing” doctors who were able to “take care of everything and get me healthy.”

At the time of the incident, the singer still managed to release her EP just days after the incident, although when breaking her silence, said she was ‘heartbroken’ about all the things she had planned.

Tori came home to a ‘surprise’ gift

As if being back home wasn’t good enough, the star actually came home to a surprise gift from none other than Beyonce.

Even celebrities fangirl over each other sometimes, as the star couldn’t believe she’d come home to a gift from Queen Bee herself.

Taking to her Instagram when arriving home, the star posted a range of cute snaps, cuddling up with her dog in the first.

Further along the slides, she shared a text message which read:

“Hi! Hope you’re feeling good! Beyoncé sent flowers to the house. No one was home so they left them under this tree.”

Tori then replied by saying: “Ummmmm, Beyoncé?”

In the next slide, she showed herself hugging a pair of big white roses, as fans told her she’d made it: “When Beyonce sends you flowers = YOU MADE IT!”
