Joe Jonas is currently on a world tour with his brothers, and despite being in the spotlight for over 15 years, even he still has awkward moments when meeting fans.

The music star took to his Instagram account over the weekend to share the ‘painful’ moment, and honestly Joe, we’re cringing too.

Taking to his 12.5 million followers, the 34-year-old, who recently announced his divorce from Sophie Turner, shared a video describing the awkward moment, which he captioned: “pain.”

“I was walking out of a brewery in Minneapolis, and someone stopped me and asked for a photo,” the star said as he began the enticing storytime.

“We took a photo, she was very lovely, and then on the way out they said ‘Have a good show tomorrow!'” he continued.

All nice and normal, right? However, Joe revealed that he said: “You too,” to the fans. Awkward.

“She might be a performer, I don’t know,” he said, before comparing it to saying “you too” back to the flight attendant telling you to have a safe flight. We’ve all been there.

Luckily for Joe Jonas, the fan actually was a performer, as she commented on the hilarious video.

“HAHAHAH Hi Joe it’s me from the street in Minneapolis, and yes, I’m (I guess somewhat of?) a performer, and yes, I do have a big game tomorrow, so thank you,” the Volleyball player replied.

The star debuts new tattoo after divorce

As well as having awkward moments with fans this week, the star also debuted some new tattoos after his divorce, at a concert in Edmonton, Alberta.

Eagle-eyed fans noticed he had gotten his daughter’s birth dates inked on his chest, following his custody battle with his former wife.

Fans also spotted a new quote on his arm, which read: “I have woven a parachute out of everything broken,” a quote from William Stafford.

The former celebrity couple announced their split in September after four years of marriage. Since then, the Game of Thrones actress has been seen kissing UK aristocrat, Peregrine Pearson, although sources tell US Weekly it’s “nothing serious.”
