Members of the South Jones Junior Beta Club spent their Saturday volunteering at the Animal Rescue League in Laurel. Upon arrival, the fifth-and sixth-graders donated dog food to the manager. They also played with the cats, took dogs for a walk, and brushed their coats.
They finished the day playing with puppies outside. Participating were SJE Jr. Beta members Sophia Tisdale, Hope Smith, Madison Mitchell, Aubrey Register and Eli Temple.
